(2009) Based on Carl Sagan's novel, 'Contact' is surprisingly thoughtful and provocative for a big-budget Hollywood sci fi... a relatively rare piece of studio filmmaking. If you liked '2001' better than say, 'Time Cop', check it out.

Seriously, it's an amazing story. As for this Oscar nominated 1994 remake - "Let's be honest: this should be titled 'Wretched Excess Frankenstein'. Swooping, wild, bloody, and energetic, this is bad moviemaking from the best, which makes it all the more lovable." --Keith Simanton 3. An incredible series that follows the evolution of American democracy as well as it does the struggles & controversy that surrounded the creation of the national park system. Filled with tales of memorable characters, and awe-inspiring visuals. Completely riveting. A quadruple must see. Highly recommended. Can we get six stars here? 2. 3. More Great Documentaries...
